Food Research Institute

Due to the extraordinary situation in connection with the spreading COVID-19 virus the access to all NPPC workplaces is only permitted with the use of a protective mask and after hand disinfection. These safety measures are valid until further notice. These safety precautions are compulsory for everyone.

On 12th and 13th of February 2020, the Xth School of Lipidology and XXVIIIth year of New trends in atherosclerosis prevention, took place at the Carlton Hotel in Bratislava. At the invitation of the presidency of the Slovak Atherosclerosis Association, NPPC - VÚP employees actively participated in the event.

Radio Regina (RTVS) hosted a broadcast on the 7th of February 2020, with the director of NPPC- VÚP Ing. Martin Polovka, PhD., as their guest. The discussion was oriented on the current trends in food, as observed by science.

On 3rd of December 2019, a working meeting was held in the premises of NPPC - VÚP in Bratislava to prepare the contracting of the project, implemented within the cross-border cooperation program Interreg-VA Slovak Republic - Hungary - Territorial Action Plan TAPE SKHU/1703/3.1./110 to support food industry.
